Parallel Lines: Photographs by Isa Daudpota

Another Subcontinent presents an exhibition of photographs by Isa Daudpota. This exhibition will be featured on Another Subcontinent from Apr 6, 2007 to May 4, 2007 and will then be archived in the "visual" section of our features archive (see links at left).

About Isa Daudpota

Isa Daudpota is an an engineer and physicist by profession. He was born in Karachi and lives in Islamabad, Pakistan. He is keenly interested in art, mathematics and computers. He writes frequently on science, information technology, education and social policy. He started photography when he was given a Kodak Brownie in the late 1950s. The digital photos in this exhibition were taken with borrowed cameras. He still uses a standard SLR, Canon EOS-10s, but is tempted to move to a digital gadget after uploading his old collection.
