About Jai Malhar

JM was born in Mumbai in 1971. He studied electrical engineering in Mumbai and computer science in the US. He has worked as a software engineer for most of his working life. After spending nine years in the US, he now lives in Pune. He is self-taught, a slightly advanced beginner in art. He carries his sketchbook, or at least a pen and some paper, wherever he goes. He finds that sketching enriches his travels and his daily life like nothing else. JM sketches from life and when indoors, from photographs.
